Rain4AFRICA @ Filinvest, Alabang, Muntinlupa City on November 13, 2011
Another run for a cause organized by Lifeline Foundation. There will be no freebies here, as per its slogan, “no singlets, no loot bags.. Just LOVE”... This is totally an event for a very good cause, to raise awareness on the condition of Africa which is suffering from a 20-years famine crisis. We are still very fortunate that many of us have the capability to pay expensive registration fees. All proceeds from this race event will go directly to World Food Programme’s initiatives.
The race that started it all as per Runrio, Inc.

Philippine Army Grandstand and Oval, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig
A worthy run for a very good cause so even though I have a big running event to attend to at the same date, I have decided to join here also…
I registered on this event this afternoon at ARC (A Runner’s Circle) in Malate, Manila. After my shift, I went home for a moment to take a quick bath then hurriedly rushed to ARC but to my mistake, I did not check ARC’s store hours. I arrived at the place around 8am and was disappointed when I saw their store hours’ signage (12noon – 9pm tues-fri, etc.) aw! So I waited there for 5 hours (..came from Alabang and it would be such a waste of time if I will have to return..) because the store personnel also arrived at the store late, it was almost 1pm already when he finally showed up. I was a bit pissed off already because of lack of sleep (no sleep yet in fact) likewise I still have to drop in at BGC to get my Nike race pack and had to work again at night. I was planning to leave already but I really want to register here so I still waited for a couple of minutes more and thank God, he finally arrived so I was able to register after all and got my race kit consists of a small-sized singlet and a bib no.
